Lead Software Engineer | 100% Remote | $130K - $190K



I'm working with a venture-backed quantum software company creating a quantum workflow platform to solve critical problems across a wide range of industries. They're looking for a Lead Engineer to join their growing team focused on building a platform essentially from the ground up!



This person will take an active part in building scalable solutions that have a major impact across the whole organization.



Responsibilities/Qualifications :

• Strong hands-on experience writing code in Python, Go, or Java
• Extensive experience building distributed systems
• Experience building Big Data Platforms using one or more of the following (Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, MapReduce, etc.)
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
• Experience designing and developing Microservices
• Leadership/Mentorship experience
• Desire to collaborate with a smart, supportive engineering team

Bonus:

• Experience developing systems at scale
• Experience working within an Agile team and delivering software via Scrum
• Strong passion for modern tech and willingness to learn new skills
• Experience with Machine Learning tools
