Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Customer Experience team and drive our machine learning implementation work for our enterprise client engagements in the US.
Through your enthusiasm, poise and skill, you will drive major accounts and critical AI projects to success. This will involve working with some of the largest companies in the world to get customers onboarded and using our cutting-edge platform in a timely manner at manufacturing plants across North America. It will entail building rapport with our clients, mentoring them where appropriate, and understanding the fine line between what they want and what they ‘need’.
In addition, you’ll interface closely with the rest of the organization, including sales, engineering, product, and business development to ensure a holistic approach to customer growth and project success.

Responsibilities
- Building trustworthy deep learning models using our proprietary platform, which will frequently draw on your problem solving skills given the variety of approaches in the field.
- Listening, truly listening, to client feedback and pain-points to help craft subsequent versions of a solution.
- Performing site assessments at customer facilities for the installation and integration of DarwinAI visual quality inspection equipment. Including: SMT (Surface Mount Technology) conveyors and Machine vision optics.
- Installing, educating and training clients on the new features of our platform and the capabilities of deep learning, and then creatively applying them.
- Maintaining familiarity with AI tools, and techniques, to help educate customers on what makes the DarwinAI approach to visual quality inspection more robust than traditional approaches.
- Project managing client engagements around new AI-enabled manufacturing solutions.
- Other tasks that will demand focus and dedication: installing and integrating software, debugging and filing bugs, helping with documentation, etc.
Requirements
- Strong Python skills
- 3-5 years experience
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems such as: PLCs, conveyor systems, machine vision cameras and optics.
- Experience in building, training, and deploying convolutional neural networks
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch/Tensorflow
- Ability to gather requirements from a customer, and to communicate and present technical results to stakeholders
- Ability to effectively collaborate with other teams, including documentation, and process improvements.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Working in an agile startup environment where you can make a genuine impact makes you excited.
- Strong initiative with a results driven drive are a key success factor.
- This role is required to be based in the US and either be a citizen or green card holder. Additionally, you must embrace travel as a key component of the role.
Bonus:
- Experience with Torchscript, Torch.fx
- Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Degree
- Strong experience with deployment workflows
- Previous experience in a services/professional services capacity
- Security clearance to work in industries such as aerospace
